Ginnie Mae is implementing revisions to the HECM Mortgage-Backed Securities (HMBS) Enhanced Monthly Pool Disclosure that will consistently output valid values for the below two fields in the Pool Detail record (record type “D”):
- Field 6, Current Security Interest Rate (WAC)
- Field 16, WAC of the Participations (the reported (prospective) WAC of the pool)
Additionally, field 17 of the “D” record was renamed from “Maximum WAC (Q4)( the calculated prospective WAC)” to “Maximum WAC (Q4)( the reported prospective WAC)”. Similarly, field 18 of the “D” record was renamed from “Minimum WAC (Q4)( the calculated prospective WAC)” to “Minimum WAC (Q4)( the reported prospective WAC)”. This revised format is available on the Ginnie Mae web site.
These changes will be reflected beginning with the Enhanced Monthly Pool Disclosure file that will be published October 16, 2014. Furthermore, these changes have no effect on the file record formats or lengths
