Ginnie Mae is making available the HECM Mortgage-Backed Securities (HMBS) Loan-Level Disclosure Layout, version 1.0, for disclosure of HMBS loan-level information. Ginnie Mae will be releasing HMBS loan-level data in two phases.
Ginnie Mae is targeting the third quarter of 2013 for implementing phase 1 of the monthly loan-level disclosure file. Phase 1 loan-level disclosure will use the new Loan-Level Disclosure Layout, but will only be populated for data items currently collected from its Issuers.
Phase 2 is targeted for the first quarter of 2014 and will encompass both monthly loan-level disclosure and new issuance disclosure. Both will utilize the new Loan-Level Disclosure Layout like phase 1, but will be populated with the “new” data elements that will be collected from Issuers.
A test file will be available in the second quarter of 2013. |
