Ginnie Mae is pleased to announce that starting in May 2012, the monthly disclosure file on outstanding Ginnie Mae securities will be released earlier. Instead of disclosing the data on the 15th business day of the month, it will now be available on the 6th business day of the month.
In addition, Ginnie Mae recently published a Consolidated Disclosure Data Dictionary containing pool-level disclosure definitions, calculations, and descriptions of the data elements related to Ginnie Mae’s Forward Mortgage-Backed Securities. Users of the data now have an authoritative document that catalogs the organization, contents, and conventions of the data Ginnie Mae discloses.
