Ginnie Mae is making available full-size MBS loan-level test files via the Test File Download page for testing and familiarization purposes.

Included are:

• MBS Loan-Level File for Ginnie I Pools
• MBS Loan-Level File for Ginnie II Pools
• MBS Loan-Level Layout, Version 1.3
• MBS Loan-Level Data Dictionary, Version 1.1

The data in the test files are based on December 2012 data. Please note the following in the test files:

• The Debt Expense Ratio Percent field will be blank when the value provided does not conform to Ginnie Mae’s standards.
• The Credit Score field will be blank when the Credit Score has a value of 100 or 200 (which denote that the credit score was non-traditional or not required). 
• Third Party Originator (TPO) information was not available in December 2012; the TPO field is populated with test data in the test files.
