Ginnie Mae is providing an update to its Platinum Collateral Disclosure Files, “platdcoll.txt” and “platcoll_YYYYMM.txt”. Beginning with August 2018 New Issuance Disclosure and July Monthly Disclosure (published in August), Ginnie Mae will be providing two additional data fields in its Platinum Collateral File: the “Security RPB Amount in Platinum Pool” and “Security RPB Percentage in Platinum Pool.” Both fields are being added to the end of the “J” Record. A Platinum Collateral test file will be available on the Disclosure New Release Test File Download page in early July.

The attached Platinum Collateral File layout, version 1.3, will be effective August 1, 2018. There is no change to the Release Schedule for this file, and the files will continue to be published on the Disclosure Data Download Files page.
