Ginnie Mae is enhancing its MBS disclosure data by introducing a new Stratification Record (Record Type 30) that provides greater visibility into borrower income characteristics at the pool level.
Overview:
The new Record Type 30 will provide aggregated information on the number of loans and associated Unpaid Principal Balance (UPB) for borrowers whose incomes fall between 80% and 100% of the local Area Median Income (AMI), as defined by Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) data.
