Ginnie Mae implemented a one-field stratification record, Record Type 28, for Low Moderate Borrower Income data in the MBS SF Pool Supplemental File in February 2023 (see Disclosure Bulletin 2023-010).
In that initial disclosure for Record Type 28, the government agency data inputs were from the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and Veteran’s Administration (VA) only. This bulletin is announcing that in July 2023, Record Type 28 will contain agency data from the FHA, VA, and now will also include information from Rural Development (RD).
There is no layout structure change, only additional data included in the record. Layout version 1.2.6 is attached, containing the updated description for Record Type 28; the layout is effective 7/1/2023.
As a reminder, Record Type 28 is provided on the monthly portfolio MBS SF Pool Supplemental File and is not included on daily or monthly new issuance MBS SF Pool Supplemental Files.
