2023-027: Revised Schedule: Platinum Portfolio Enhanced Supplemental File: Stratification Record 28 File Layout and Implementation Date
Published Date: 6/9/2023 3:20 PM

Ginnie Mae announced in Disclosure Bulletin 2023-019 that it is implementing a new one-field stratification record, Record Type 28, for Low Moderate Borrower Income data in the Platinum Portfolio Enhanced Supplemental File:

  • The new record provides platinum pool-level aggregate information about the extent of UPB dollars where the borrower income is below 80% of the Median Family Income (MFI). The new Low and Moderate Borrower Income Record uses insuring agency income data (FHA and VA), Ginnie Mae collateral pool loan data, and Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council's (FFIEC) data to calculate and aggregate pool level information about the low and moderate borrower income content of the pool.
